I can be large

I can be small

I can feel the ground

Or stand tall

I show my colors in green, yellow, red

I catch the sun and the rain until I’m dead

I am a leaf in it all

Schoonheid zit vanbinnen

Buiten lijkt het te gebeuren

Buiten blijft niks staan

Buiten gaan dingen bloeien

Buiten zal het vergaan

Buiten staat de tijd niet stil

Buiten hollen mensen hun pad

Buiten kan het verkeren

Buiten gaan we ‘nat’

Buiten willen we zijn

Buiten, tot ziekte het pad kruist

En we realiseren dat liefde en schoonheid

Niet buiten, maar binnen huist
